At Discovery Tours New Zealand, we conduct a Private Guiding service which is suitable for anyone interested in joining the Mt Cook Regions most experinced and knoweldgable guides for walks, hikes and heli-hikes. We do offer set time and priced adventure day hikes for those who like to plan ahead and maybe traveling alone so would like to meet others of like mind on one of our informative and relaxed hikes. We specalise in guiding small groups where you hire the guide for the time you need, to take you on the type of hike you seek, while learning all about the Mount Cook Region. We can offer some activities for larger groups along with some great trips for education and special interest parties.
In general we like to stay away from the crowds off the main public trails unless we are guiding larger groups, this gives our guides the ability to tailor walks and hikes to all fitness levels, abilities and time tables.
