How secure is the booking system?
The booking system uses SSL 128 bit encryption to keep you credit card details safe.

If you do not have/ or wish to use a credit card.
We can still take your booking but you will be required to reconfirm your booking by a specific date. If you do not reconfirm the seats held in your name may be sold to other visitors. You will need to call or email giving us you name, contact details (overseas or place you are staying the night before the tour if you know), number of people, tour, date and time. You should have an answer within 24 hours of the email being submitted.

Can I pay on the day instead?
Yes, you can. Please make a note of this in the comment section of the booking form. The credit cards details will only be held for confirmation of the booking and only charged in the event of the cancellation policy taking place. You will be emailed before this occurs.

Can I get a gift voucher for family or friends?
Yes, you can just let us know and we will make a special voucher up for them.

Refunds.
If Discovery Tours cancel in advance due to adverse weather conditions or other safety concerns, you will be refunded 100% of your tour charge, except if food or any other special arrangements have been made - this will be outlined in your booking details. There may be circumstances where partial refunds may be given if a tour is not completed, or another tour of lesser value is taken. In the event of someone cancelling a tour and the cancellation policy being invoked, there may be circumstance where there is no refund - please see cancellation policy for more details.

What is the Cancellation Policy? 
If Discovery Tours cancel a tour in advance for safety or adverse weather concerns there will be no cancellation fee. If food has been ordered for you and we cannot cancel the order with our suppliers, you will be charged for the food but you are welcome to take it with you.

You may cancel the booking up to 48 hours before the tour starts with no cancellation fee or penalty.

If you cancel within 48 hours of the tour starting time there may be a cancellation fee of up to 100%.

If you fail to show up for a tour (and we have not been contacted) a 100% cancellation fee may be charged at our discretion.

Special one off tour arrangement may have a different cancellation policy – if this is the case you will be given those conditions in writing when you book the tour.

Can I make changes to a booking?
Yes, you can make changes up to 24 hours in advance with no penalty fee, such as type of Discovery Tour you wish to take, number of people on the tour, tour time slot or day of tour, as long as there are seats available and no other client is disadvantaged by the change, and minimum numbers to confirm a tour are still met.
